Reading all the tweets about Solange fighting Jay-Z makes me incredibly sad. How can people say that he should’ve hit her back or make jokes about her finances not being as much as him? Solange may not be as rich as Beyoncé but that doesn’t mean she’s not happy. Solange is greatly successful as an artist; she chose not to be a pop media sex slave. Nobody knows what the argument was about, and since Beyoncé does nothing to stop Solange in the video, I assume she was in the right.
The peoples response is disgusting to me, that they just assume Solange was “acting a fool.” She may have a great reason to be angry and until anyone knows why, they shouldn’t make such hurtful jokes.

"We live in a world where losing your phone is more dramatic than losing your virginity"

Um ok but I don’t recall my virginity having 16 GB of memory with all my contacts, music, photos, calendars, and apps or costing over $200.

my phone is an expensive and important material object and not a useless social construct put in place to shame and commodify women

Plus I remember where I lost my virginity.

reading this really disappoints me
